Could methane power Rwanda’s future?

Rwanda, in central Africa, contains large reserves of methane, trapped at the bottom of lakes, where organic-rich sediments decompose. These could be used to power elctricity generating plants and provide electricity for the area, but what are the negative aspects of this sort of development? Find out more here:
